My seminar will begin with a general overview of sponsorship marketing; looking within sports and entertainment as case studies and what it looks like across industries. I will break down both corporate partnerships and talent/athlete partnerships as well as the difference with influencer marketing. Will look across common structures and assets that brands look for to utilize across the space and some of the unique asset’s brands have utilized. Will breakdown building a consumer profile to target brands, breaking down consumer demos and understanding customer base and the ways brands can organically expand that base. Then will transition to common mistakes made in partnership marketing and the chase for larger market share. Before jumping into final thoughts, I will dive in on a unique future challenge - Population numbers and how that effects customer demographics for brands moving forward. Will finish with final thoughts on the future of the space and then transition to the Q&A.
