What Are Brand Guidelines?

This summer, we updated our brand guidelines. You might be wondering, “What ARE brand guidelines?” 

Brand guidelines set the stage for all the design elements for ourselves and our clients! It usually includes how your logo should be used, what your brand colors are, the fonts you use and where and how to use them, and any other design assets. We use this as a rulebook for consistency across individual websites, social platforms, ad campaigns, print materials and more. If you needed to hire an outside source for printing or specific projects or anything at all, you could send them the brand guidelines so that design and branding is all on the same page. If it’s approved on the guidelines, it’s good to go for any official business documents! 

With that in mind, we wanted to create something special just for our clients. Rather than stick to a standard, boring PDF packet for your brand guidelines, we took ours to the NEXT LEVEL! Every client will now receive a designed and framed poster version of their brand guidelines (even past clients). Now more than ever, the guidelines are visible, practical, and easy to reference. Plus, each poster is designed in the brand’s style so you can actually see the features in practice.
