Jennifer Davies is the strategic communications manager for the city of Las Vegas, Nevada. In her role, Jennifer oversees the digital and marketing teams to support the city’s 20 departments and seven elected officials. Their work focuses on digital tools including social media, email marketing and web usability and marketing efforts including branding, advertising and graphic design. She believes that digital tools are changing the face of government for the better by making it easier to share news, get feedback and build relationships with residents. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication and public relations from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in communication management from the University of Southern California. She also teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
