Keisuke Nakagawa, MD is the Director of Strategic Impact & Growth at the Jacobs Center for Health Innovation at UC San Diego Health. He leads partnerships, ventures, and growth initiatives that accelerate the adoption and scale of transformative health technologies. 

Previously, as Director of Innovation at UC Davis Health, he launched the world’s first Cloud Innovation Center within an academic medical center through a partnership with Amazon Web Services. He has collaborated with organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons to develop open-source tools for health misinformation and equitable patient-reported outcomes.

A former Fulbright Scholar to Bangladesh, Dr. Nakagawa helped scale a national micro health insurance program. He has served on national committees with HIMSS and the Fulbright Association and previously worked at the Congressional Budget Office on health reform. He holds an MD from UC Davis and a BA from Cornell.
