The Florida Authors and Publishers Association, Inc. (FAPA) strives to inspire and empower authors and publishers to elevate industry standards. From not-yet-published authors to professional publishers, FAPA provides opportunities for networking at our annual conference, FAPACon. This year’s conference will take place on July 31 and August 1 at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, FL. Corporations and small businesses offering services or products to authors are encouraged to promote themselves as sponsors.

The culminating event of FAPACon is the presentation of medals for winners of the FAPA President’s Book Awards. This contest recognizes book publishing excellence and creativity in design, content, and production. It isn't limited to Florida—authors from around the world are encouraged to enter, as long as the book is written in English. Qualified judges volunteer to read and score the hundreds of books that are entered each year.

In addition to the conference and book awards, industry professionals who join as FAPA partner members have a robust profile and a dedicated link to their website directly from ours. Student authors are encouraged to complete FAPA’s scholarship application. This organization is managed by a group of dedicated, passionate professionals who volunteer on the FAPA Board of Directors.
