We’ll explore those characteristics of a franchise that ensure success for the business owner – both those related directly to the business model, and those which impact their lifestyle. In the former area, we’ll look at the importance of the vertical market in which the business operates, nature of business (potential for recurring revenue streams, scalability etc), competitive landscape, resilience, quality and experience of the franchisor; in the latter area, we’ll look at some of the areas which affect family life, time flexibility, exit strategy. At the end of the seminar, delegates should have a checklist of items to consider which will help them to make a good choice in terms of investing into a new business.
